FOUNDATION COURSE

This is an unique and comprehensive drama course for students who wish to develop their theatre skills (voice, speech and presentation), and gain confidence, poise and personality in performance.

It is a twelve week course, held every Thursday from 7.00pm - 10.00pm

"The Play's the Thing"

This is a new production based on the very successful books by Jean Marlow and Eamonn Jones.
Our actors will be performing scenes from some of the best classical and modern plays, giving everyone the opportunity to play a challenge and worthwhile part.
Our aim will be to present this fully costumed entertainment to an invited audience in early November/December 2009.

Students will be expected to make themselves available for rehearsal at weekends during the period of showcase or production dates.

PUT YOURSELF IN THE PICTURE

The above production will be filmed by a professional company, and a video copy made available to students participating. A useful addition to your show-reel.

NOTE: Students are advised to wear comfortable casual clothes and footwear (i.e. jazz shoes or similar).

Books by Jean Marlow and Eamonn Jones, based on their workshops with ATS students over 10 years, are used by teachers and students throughout the UK and internationally.
